Ellsworth Assembly Seeking
answers to life's questions together.

Our only real product is relationship...

We are centrally located in Ellsworth, Maine, at the crossroads of “Down East Maine”.  We are just off the path to beautiful Acadia National Park and Mount Desert Island where many people come from all over the world to visit. We welcome you to join us for worship.

Why attend church?

“Church” means “called out ones”, not “building”.  In the book of Hebrews in the Bible we read, “And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds.  Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.”  (Hebrews 10:24-25).

The Bible encourages us to meet together as the people of God and all the more as [we] see the Day approaching.  This is referring to the “Day of the Lord”--the time when God will wrap up human history as we know it.  Many think that world events are bringing us closer to that Day.

Are you a “called out one”—one that is drawn to God?

We are commanded in scripture  to meet regularly with brothers and sisters in Christ. Are you uncertain?  When we gather together we have the opportunity to grow in understanding.

Why should I attend Ellsworth Assembly?

This is a culture burned over by spiritual abuse and misrepresentation of the message of Jesus. We seek to be real and transparent preferring openness and honesty over display and polish.

Grief Support Group

We do not walk this path alone: The purpose of this group is for a time of support, encouragement, sharing and a time of walking beside anyone who is in this journey of grief.  The location of the meeting is at Ellsworth City Hall on Church Street in the Council Chamber Room (use the back door and go to the left, room at the end of hall). Beginning January 21, 2015 and every third Wednesday of the month from 6pm to 7:30pm. Contact Person: Pam Seymour 207-825-3113
